Lagoon Amusement Park introduced a new food and beer attraction, themed like a small Bavarian village square. There are 2 bars, a sit down restaurant, and a grab-and-go restaurant.
The park was established in 1886, and then moved to its current location in Farmington, UT in 1899. Since then, the park has grown to include a water park, 6 roller coasters, and a variety of other ride attractions.
In 2017, Lagoon wanted to introduce a new food and drink option for their patrons, a beer garden. Although having a beer license for many decades, it had never been fully utilized. The goal of the project was to find a way to introduce a beer attraction into a pre-existing site that was once an entertainment stage, but was no longer being used.
Lagoon approached Coel Studio to help them envision what the site could be. After entertaining several directions, Lagoon chose to pursue a Bavarian themed beer garden. Today, you can enjoy a beer at one of several indoor or outdoor areas, created to make you feel as though you have just stepped into a town square.
With 12,500 square feet, the facility has 60 taps, 20 unique beers, and 2 of the largest kitchens on the park.
